Important Note - A recently-discovered conflict between Pioneer and Araknis prohibits Pioneer from receiving a dynamic IP from Araknis routers. While we work with Pioneer to determine a root cause, the current solution is to set the static IP address from the main GUI of Pioneer devices (receivers and Blu-ray players), using the provided Pioneer remote.
Dolby Atmos Equipment & Room Requirements - To use Dolby Atmos technology, the listening room ceiling should have a horizontal flat hard surface (for audio reflection) and a height of 8’ to 14’. It works by adding height to the sonic landscape, creating a true 3D, multi-dimensional space that puts you directly inside the experience. Optimized room calibration through the built-in MCACC Pro feature, in conjunction with Atmos-enabled speakers like the Elite Home Theater System or dedicated ceiling-mounted speakers, reproduces sound in smooth, curving, and realistic three-dimensional movement overhead by top-firing Atmos drivers. Pioneer’s Class D3 delivers full power across all nine channels simultaneously for a total of 810 watts (8 ohms, 1 kHz @ 1.0% THD). With a direct signal path and no EMI filters, feedback loops or current limiting, these amps can handle low-impedance speaker loads that challenge lesser receivers.
