With Sonos Connect, the awesome home theater you’ve built around your Elite receiver can now be part of your existing Sonos Home Sound System, or the start of a new one. After a simple set up, your Elite A/V receiver will seamlessly tie into Sonos, instantly waking, changing inputs and playing at the volume you command through the familiar Sonos app.
Dolby Atmos®/Dolby Surround Upmixing
The LX503 is compatible with 7.2.2ch/5.2.4ch configuration of the latest Dolby Atmos theater sound platform. Capable of reproducing object-oriented sound in smooth, curving movements, or the realistic three-dimensional movement overhead by the top speakers. Other audio codecs, including DTS formats, can now be upmixed using Dolby Surround for the ultimate 3D surround sound experience.
DTS:X®/DTS Neural:X Upmixing
DTS:X is the next-generation audio codec from DTS that leverages object-based audio to take your customers’ sound systems to the next level, opening the door to new kinds of immersive and interactive audio experiences. DTS:X can automatically adapt sounds into any existing channels or speaker systems, so no specific speaker layout is required to maximize each installation. This means that each soundscape can now deliver an incredibly rich, life-like audio experience to your customers that feels custom-designed. Additional audio codecs, including Dolby formats, can now be upmixed using DTS Neural:X for optimized 3D surround sound.

Reflex Optimizer
When using Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers, high directivity sound from the unit reflects off the ceiling, while low directivity sound directly reaches the ears. These different pathways can sometimes cause a phase shift, making the sound feel unbalanced for your customers. But with the LX303’s Reflex Optimizer and Phase Control technology, your customers will be able to adjust this shift and improve sound image localization by aligning the frequencies with those of the floor speakers, creating the ideal environment for audio reproduction.
