Aggressive Power Supply
Instead of passively allowing the component to cool, the blowers speed up the process by acting like a heat sink and pulls the hot away from the component which promotes longer lasting equipment.
Variable Voltage Power Supply
Each unit comes with a variable AC to DC voltage regulator. This means that you can switch the fan from 4.5 - 12V and control the speed of the fan for to the specific situation. 
Quiet 
The maximum decibel level reached is around 28 db, or just louder than a whisper. Since the fan is provided with an adjustable power supply to increase or decrease the speed of the blowers, you are able to accommodate quiet situations when necessary (in-room applications) or open full throttle when not ( in a utility closet). 
Compatibility
This unit is compatible with the TC-ALTv2 for when you want to let the temperature itself control the speed of the fan and use less power when possible.
